Firmware versions for Loudlink LLK-UNIBLUE LLK-BLUELITE LLK-UNILITE and LLK-AUXLITE models.

How to update firmware:

  • unzip, and copy fw.hex file to the root directory of newly formatted empty SD card
  • insert SD card to Loudlink when radio is off, and Loudlink LED is also off
  • within 10-15 seconds firmware update have to start
  • Loudlink LED blinking for around 15 seconds
  • if update not started, remove SD card, and insert again when Loudlink LED is off
  • after successful update Loudlink LED will switch off back
  • if Loudlink LED flashing with BLUE color after update, disconnect Loudlink and connect again to restart update. (don't remove SD card, don't delete fw.hex file!)
  • DON'T disconnect Loudlink during update!
  • fw.hex file after update not required, but you don't need to delete

 What's the new in the firmware version x.x.4.2 (02.12.2022)?
  • Bluetooth playback volume adjust function added

    During Bluetooth streaming, on CD5 Track1-Track8 defines Bluetooth playback volume.

    During hands free, on CD5 Track1-Track8 defines Microphone volume.

    When Bluetooth disconnected, on CD5 Track1-Track8 defines AUX volume.

    Default for AUX is Track3, for Microphone is Track8, for Bluetooth streaming is Track8.

  • Loudlink tries to connect to paired phone after power-up up to 60 seconds.

  • Startup freeze bugfix for 1.0.x.x and 1.1.x.x versions.
What's the new in the firmware version x.x.3.3 (14.02.2018)?
  • AUX-in function added on Microphone input, when Bluetooth not connected or SD card not inserted.  In this case, CD5 Track1-Track8 defines AUX volume.
    When Bluetooth connected, CD5 Track1-Track8 defines Microphone volume.
    Default volume for AUX is Track3, for Microphone is Track8.
  • 3D Boost disable: On CD5 go until Track13, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone / AUX gain.
    Turn OFF head unit, wait while Loudlink LED goes off, Turn ON head unit.
    To enable 3D Boost feature: On CD5 go until Track14, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone / AUX gain.
    Default is 3D Boost enabled.
  • AUX Stereo mode disable, for LLK-UNIBLUE hardware version V1.0.4 and before, which has no got stereo Microphone / AUX input.
    On CD5 go until Track15, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone / AUX gain.
    Turn OFF head unit, wait while Loudlink LED goes off, Turn ON head unit.
    To enable AUX Stereo mode: On CD5 go until Track16, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone / AUX gain.
    Default is AUX Stereo mode.
  • RESET Loudlink to Factory default settings:
    On CD5 go until Track17, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone / AUX gain.
    Turn OFF head unit, wait while Loudlink LED goes off, Turn ON head unit.

What's the new in the firmware version x.x.3.0 (31.05.2017)?

  • 2 Phones supported for Bluetooth connectivity
    - Initiate 1st pairing: On CD4 go until Track6
    - Pair first phone
    - Initiate 2nd pairing if you want to use 2nd phone: On CD4 go until Track4
    - Pair second phone
    - Go to CD3

    Loudlink will connect automatically to last used phone.

    If you want to connect to another paired phone, connect manually inside Phone Bluetooth menu, or press "Next Track" button twice on Head Unit within 5 seconds.

  • SONY, HTC and some other Android phones music playback and hands free bug fixed

    - Case of high intensity noise issue over Bluetooth music streaming: On CD5 go until Track9, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone gain. 

    Turn OFF head unit, wait while Loudlink LED goes off, Turn ON head unit.

    To reset this feature On CD5 go until Track10, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone gain.

    - Case of no hands free voice over Bluetooth: On CD5 go until Track11, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone gain. 

    Turn OFF head unit, wait while Loudlink LED goes off, Turn ON head unit.

    To reset this feature On CD5 go until Track12, wait while time counter roll over 00:05, go to Track1-Track8 to save settings, and set Microphone gain.

    To be sure Loudlink is in default settings (best music streaming, and hands free performance) you have to see in your phone Bluetooth device list: "Loudlink CarKit Vxxxxb..."  or "Loudlink BlueLT Vxxxxb..." where "b" means Loudlink is in default configuration.
